Discovering your mission in life

area of operations team = mike May 06, 2024

Everyone wants to reach their potential. We’re wired for it. In fact, we won’t feel satisfied until we do— until we discover “what we’re here for.”

One thinker even said it like this:

The two most important dates on your personal timeline are these: 1) they day you’re born AND 2) the day you discover why.

Well said.

So how do you discover your unique design?

How do you discern why you’re here?

Consider the following:

❤️‍🩹 What past wounds do you have?

Make sure they’re healed— because It’s hard to move forward when you’re holding to past pain.

But, once healing has begun, you can readily lead people through the same mess you’ve endured. You not only have the map; you’ve experienced the terrain. Your story of overcoming CAN BECOME their map.

🎁 What talents and gifts do you have?

If God created each of us uniquely (which He did) and intentionally (which we know to be true), it means you don’t have the talents you have by accident. They’re as much a part of God’s sovereign design as each part of the universe.

🛑 What obstacles or needs do you see that others seem to pass by?

If your eyes are supernaturally open to something— If you carry a unique burden others don’t have— it may be that God has called you to meet that need.
