“I am the way, the truth, and the religion,” said no one ever.

Yet, that’s how we often interpret Jesus’ words from John 14:6.

For sure, religion isn’t a bad word.

The root of the word, religio, is a latin word that means to “reconnect.”

In the same way our ligaments and tendons connect muscle to bone and muscle to muscle, religion— in the right way— can reconnect us to each other and to God and to who we’re truly designed to be.

And when it does, it doesn’t just look like a Sunday worship service. It looks more like living your purpose and connecting with people and walking with God in every area of operations you have— experiencing Him in every area of life.

“I am the way, the truth, and the… LIFE.”
